Javier Uhthoff is a Senior Associate at Uhthoff, Gómez Vega & Uhthoff, S.C., with more than 15 years of experience, where he serves as head of the Copyright and Entertainment Law Department. He is a graduate of the Law Degree from the Universidad Iberoamericana, an institution where he also completed a postgraduate degree in Administrative Law and Tax Procedure. In 2016, he completed a Master's Degree in Intellectual Property, Information and Technology Law at Fordham University School of Law, in New York City; likewise, in 2020 he completed a postgraduate degree in Entertainment Law at the University of Southern California. He is an active member of the Mexican Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property, the National Association of Business Lawyers, the Mexican Bar Association, the International Trademark Association and the Copyright Society of the U.S.A., among other organizations. He has been recognized by Best Lawyers in its 2025 and 2026 editions, as well as by WIPR Leaders in its 2024 edition and in the Leaders League 2026 in the Media & Entertainment category.
