I am an Intellectual Property professional with over ten (10) years of experience in trademarks, patents and industrial designs, gained within leading law firm environments in Mauritius. I currently serve as Head of Intellectual Property at Étude Guy Rivalland, where I lead the management of local and international IP portfolios for a diverse client base, including globally recognised brands. My work covers the full lifecycle of intellectual property rights, including filings, renewals, recordals, oppositions and portfolio strategy, as well as coordination with foreign associates across multiple jurisdictions. I have extensive experience in managing complex intellectual property portfolios, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and delivering efficient and reliable support to clients and international stakeholders. My professional development includes certifications from the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), covering areas such as the Madrid System, Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT), patent information and general intellectual property principles. I remain committed to delivering high standards of accuracy, reliability and professionalism in all aspects of intellectual property practice, and to contributing to the continued development of Mauritius as a trusted jurisdiction for intellectual property protection.
